This wood was found while salvaging in rural Ontario on the shores of Lake Huron. A local farmer brought me to his retired fathers workshop, climbed up into the attic and brought down a select few of this stunning pieces, that had been sitting there for the past 25 years. The retired maker used to carve wooden clocks, and shared a great story or two before passing these boards on to me. One of my most favourite and memorable finds... all came about from close ties, respect for local makers and great family tradition.
This stunning unique shaped serving board is made with salvaged wood from Ontario. The knots and cracks in the wood are filled with Canadian made, non-toxic clear Ecopoxy Epoxy Resin to showcase some samll embedded river stones, and compliment the natural colour of the wood
