Part of a new line of serving boards, the 'Balance: Elisha G x JL Sons' line combines the beautiful artwork of local artist Elisha @elisha.genn, and the unique wood designs of JL Sons.

These boards are made from brand new local Ontario walnut wood.  A local sawmill owner saves his “discarded” cut off / ends, twisted and cracked wood that cannot otherwise be used for their orders. This wood is then reclaimed, and milled down into perfect strips, and fastened together to fork this amazing boards.  A tremendous amount of work goes into salvaging and repurposing as much of a fallen tree as possible! This eco-conscious approach is a of great importance to us, and a big reason why we offer them to our clients.

* Made with 100% Local Ontario Grown and Salvaged Wood. Wash before use. Do not submerse in water, not dishwasher safe. Hand wipe with damp cloth and mild soap and dry quickly. As this is a natural wood product and a natural food safe wood finish, wood may fade, crack, split or chip. To bring back the lustre of a faded board, use Walrus Oil products, or, a food grade mineral oil that is readily available at any local pharmacy.
